Dexter’s Legacy Blend honors the life of a gentle dog whose tragedy sparked a movement stronger than his abuser ever expected. Dexter was adopted in Pinellas County with the promise of safety and love — a promise broken in the most heartbreaking way when the very person entrusted to care for him took his life.

His death shook our community. It outraged rescuers, advocates, and every person who believes animals deserve protection, dignity, and compassion. His case led to conviction, and although appeals continue, the message remains unshaken: cruelty will not be tolerated.

Out of Dexter’s tragedy rose something powerful —
Dexter’s Law, Florida legislation increasing penalties for animal cruelty.
A law built on heartbreak, fueled by community, and forever carrying Dexter’s name.

This blend is created in partnership with Pinellas County Animal Services to honor Dexter’s spirit and to continue the mission his story galvanized — protect the innocent, strengthen accountability, and support the animals still waiting for their second chance.
