Refuge & Renewal Roast was created in collaboration with Alaqua Animal Refuge to celebrate the second chances, healing, and new beginnings made possible through animal rescue.

This distinctive African Highlands Blend combines medium and medium-dark roasted coffees to create a rich, balanced cup with approachable depth and character.

What makes this blend special is that it is post-roast blended. Rather than blending the green coffee beans together before roasting, each coffee is roasted separately to its ideal roast level and then combined afterward. This allows the individual characteristics of the medium and medium-dark roasts to develop fully before coming together in the final blend—creating greater complexity, balance, and consistency in the cup.

The result is a coffee that reflects the spirit behind its name: strength, warmth, and the promise of renewal.
