Forever Friend Roast is more than coffee — it’s a love letter to Roxy, the dog whose story ignited a mission.
Roxy was originally adopted from Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services, arriving scared, unsure, and fiercely food-aggressive after surviving life as a bait dog. She had the scars to prove where she’d been — but she also had a spark that refused to die.
With patience, safety, and love, she transformed into the most loyal, affectionate companion imaginable. For nearly two precious years, she gave her whole heart — and received it back a thousand times over — until her passing in February 2025.
What Hernando County Animal Services did for Roxy is what they do for so many animals every single day:
they give broken souls a place to heal, a chance to trust again, and the possibility of a forever friend.
They are among the best in the rescue world, and this roast honors them — and her.
